HEADLINE: Brief respite from the unsettled conditions during Friday, but becoming unsettled once again from Saturday.
FRIDAY: A minor ridge of high pressure will bring a better day than recently experienced. One or two scattered light showers will remain a risk, but overall there should be some good sunny spells and feeling warmer in the sunshine and lighter winds. Cloud will generally increase through the afternoon and into the evening. Maximum temperature 17C.
SATURDAY: An initial dry start to the day is expected, but rain will quickly spread across all parts from late morning onwards. This will be slow to clear, but will eventually clear to showers later in the day. Breezy with a moderate to locally strong southerly wind. Feeling chilly beneath the cloud and rain. Maximum temperature 15C.
SUNDAY: A brighter day overall with a mixture of sunshine and showers, some of the showers could be heavy. As is always the case, some parts of the region may see more of the showers than others. Temperatures continuing to be below average. Maximum 16C.
