do,s anyone know why our computor will start up but will then say no signal and then go blank screen but then will startup again

then it will let you on but close whatever your doing and give the no signal sign again also if yuo are lucky and get going it will sometimes freeze and you cannot do anything at all
this is so annoying espec if you are in the middle of a game:bonk:

Sounds like an intermittent hardware problem - buggers to diagnose and solve. :brickwall:

How old is the PC?

And what exactly is the "no signal" from?
Often monitors will say this if the video signal is not present, I.E. on boot up if they are turned on before the PC.

If its happening during use it may be a video card problem, if the PC has been moved recently it may just be that the video card is loose in the motherboard & just needs the case opening & the card pushing back down (power off of course).
