Here's a few that I know that regularly feature bands/music.

Rythm Station - Rawtenstall (Jazz events, as well as disco/club)
Madison's Wine Bar - Rawtenstall (Pop and Dance)
Bacup Con Club - Bacup (Folk)

Post below, if your local has some music and what sort.

The Jolly Sailor in Waterfoot has live music, and a jam night the last sunday in every month - you get a real mix then.

Went to the Jolly Sailor last night to watch a band called "Nono's dog". I dont think they sang any of their own stuff but the covers they did were spot on. Have to say they were fantastic and it was a good night :thumbs:

Cafe Artisan, Rawtenstall Has a wide range of live music including some of the countries best tribute bands playing once a month.
Other nights include:

Jazz Night - 1st Thursday of the Month
Comedy Night - 2nd Thursday of the month
Charity Quiz Night 3rd Thursday of the month

Also regular acoustic and cover band nights.

ps other live ( ish) music venues int' valley are White Lion ( Friday or Sat ) Top Club, Loughclough, (cheap ale ;) ) usually Sat, 1 Sunday afternoon a month) . Farmers Glory, Roundhills Rd Haslingden ( usually every Wed & Fri. anything from folk to rock). Holden Arms, Grane rd, Haslingden. usually Sat.

Does the Holden Arms have live music then? I thought it was just Winker on the mike?!

Well Winker's there, but they often have a band or solo to give him chance to go for a fag lol. Occassionally on Thursday also. watch this space;)

So, the band will be on for most of the night if Winky Woo still smokes as much as he used to when I knew him well!?!?!
