It'll be interesting to see if the timber frames are permitted to be replaced with uPVC on the house on Bowker Street, considering the recent debacle in Crawshawbooth (http://www.rossendaleonline.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2244).

Looks as though, Haslingden could get another takeaway on Deardengate, with an application to convert an office at 59/61 to a takeaway.

There's quite a big one in Whitworth too, with Brookville old peoples home being redeveloped. It's very run down and I hope they get permission to build a new and much better home for the elderly.

Pack Horse Barn in Edenfield is back in again, after quite a few attempts and with a lot of support.

If the house on Bowker Street is not marked as being a listed building, then I should see no problems in getting the permission to change to uPVC.
