a friends escort needed the radio de-coding so i downloaded this , took the code off the back off the radio and typed it in one of the ford de-coding programs and it worked fine, its for ford , volvo, hyundai, and maybe some others?? good look, they do work though!

These programs are the ones used by car manufacturers to get the code for your standard radio's, they will charge you up to £60

Took your advise & downloaded the program, Put it on my second HD for future use,

WARNING to others though, Before extracting the files, Run a scan on the zip folder, As norton internet security 2008 has found a trojan in the folder.

Now safely removed. :thumbs:

Ive just removed it now, turned my virus scanner on :o sorry Time-out i didnt know, anyways, if you need any help with the ford de-coders i have done a few and i am happy to assist,

I'm glad you sorted it ...... I very nearly deleted this thread.

Thats why i put the WARNING up to alert everyone who may be interested in such programs, Its not everyone who scans everything they download.

But thankfully i am a little to conscious about this type of thing & always scan everything before extracting anything downloaded from the internet, Everyone should do the same.
