Seeing Carole5001's photo of her breakfast in the What's for Tea thread made me wonder, where's the best place in the valley for a good old fry up on a Sunday morning? Sunday morning, of course, goes on to about 2pm.

So where's your favorite? I may just have to test a few.

I believe the best place for breakfasts is in Stacksteads, place used to be a pub, i'll remember the name in a tic :bonk: :bonk: think it is just by the crossing on the corner of the road up to the tip,

I go for Breakfast Most Saturday mornings on Bank Street, its not the black fronted near the end (towards the market) its the one further up about 50yards, for 2 breakfast and tea and coffee and toast the full works is less than £8 i think or around that! and its VERY nice :)

I know where you mean, but can't remember the name either. :bonk:

We've had a few brekkie's in Tesco (both Haslingden & Rawtenstall) and they're great, but stop about 11am. Sometimes we're a bit late and end up having something like Shepherds pie for brekkie!

The cafe in Rawtenstall Station do more or less all day breakfasts throughout most of the week, though on Saturdays and Sundays the hard part is getting in there when there is an event on. No problems in mid-week though, or on quiet weekends. I've often been lured in there by the smell of bacon and eggswhen passing by - hmmmm bacon!

I think the Station cafe is run by the couple who had the franchise at the old Kwik Save.

Stephen and his wife who used to run it have now retired, and a younger couple are now running things, they also seem to do deliveries as well now.
