Weekend Weather Forecast - Covering Friday 29th March to Sunday 1st April 2007
FRIDAY: High pressure will make a slow re-appearance as the day progresses, but there will be further risk of showers and perhaps longer spells of rain during the day, some of which will be heavy. A moderate and quite chilly north-easterly wind will develop. Maximum temperature around 9C.
SATURDAY: High pressure will become the dominant feature of the weather, as a result a return to dry and settled conditions is expected. Some bright or sunny spells are possible from time to time. There will continue to be a chilly north-easterly wind. Maximum temperature 10C.
SUNDAY: High pressure will again be in charge of the weather so another dry and settled day is expected. There will likely be a greater risk of more prolonged bright or sunny breaks during Sunday across the whole Valley, but that chilly, moderate north-easterly wind will still be present, so not feeling particularly warm at any point this weekend. Maximum temperature 11C.
EXTENDED OUTLOOK: The outlook is for high pressure to be a dominant feature of the weather throughout next week in what is likely to be a perfect first week of the half term holidays. It will feel pleasantly warm in any sunshine and rainfall will be minimal or nil throughout the entire week.
Have a good weekend whatever the weather, Matt.
