I've had quite a few suggestions for groups and subforums to be setup on Rossendale Online.

They're great suggestions and goes to show the wide areas of interest, that we're all interested in and cover on Rossendale Online.

Whilst I'm well up for creating interest groups and their own forums, there has to be some interest to make them worthwhile, so here's the list of new subforums and interest groups:


Rossendale Bikers - A sub forum for all those bikers (motorised, that is) to share routes, ideas, tips and to hopefully bring back the Rossendale Bike Show.
Food & Drink - We all like food and judging by our popular get2gethers - drink! So, this sub-forum is for Rossendale restaurant reviews, recipes and all things food and drink.
Rossendale Ramblers - With the popularity of the recent walks, a Rossendale Ramblers forum was mentioned to document all the walks, pictures and routes.


What with the contiued growth of Rossendale Online, I hope these extra forums add to the great community we have on Rossendale Online.

Look out for the new forums over the coming days and I'll be moving relevant posts over to their congruent place. :thumbs:

Yep - The Biker's section gets a big thumbs up for me :thumbs:

I'm happy to post up Garmin files with some good routes in the Lakes / Dales etc etc. Could organise runs too if there is an interest for ride outs.

I tend to be out every weekend somewhere......would be good to meet up with fellow Rossendalian Bikers.

Yep, a biking section would be good especially with summer and the rally season coming. :thumbs:
