Thanks to Chloe for the original, I cannot take the photo any higher up the hill due to the planting of Mary's Wood, on the original you can see the two pairs of semis on the right hand side of Grane Road (travelling towards Blackburn) have not built.

Interesting to see the old tramway to Musbury Quarry running across the middle of the picture.

Never actually seen any pictures of it which I suppose is unusual you'd think some would have been taken and survived. Would it have ceased operation in the 1930s? I remember the deep dry stone walled cutting the other side of Holcombe road and what would be stiff climb to the reservoir, but no doubt going that way the trains would be empty.
