£60,000 boost Whitworth water-skiers

A CHARITY which has helped train several world champions has received a £60,000 boost.
The Whitworth Water Ski and Recreation Centre, based at Cowm Reservoir, has won the cash from Sport England to buy two new speed boats and a new jetty.
Bosses said the injection of money would mean competitors that used the facility would be able to vastly increase the quality of their training (http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/jobs) and also hoped it would encourage more people to take up watersports
