The Beijing Palace at Clowbridge has been mentioned on here a few times and has always had rave reviews.

I'm not normally a fan of Chinese food, but think I've not had the best in the past which has spoilt my view.

Anyhow, I'm thinking of giving the Beijing a go sometime and fancied a takeaway from there,

Has anyone got a takeaway menu to hand, that they could possibly scan or maybe list what some of the deals are?

If not, I'll pop in next time I'm passing.

Cheers folks.

Ohh - my favourite chinese in the North west!!!! And thats saying something (OH works are in Manchesters China Town so tend to eat a lot there!).
Make sure you order the Salt and Peppar squid - it is gorg. Vietnamese Spring rolls are lovely as well.

That's quite a recommendation.

We were gonna try it when we had a takeaway at a friends house, but ended getting a Thai meal from the Bull and Butcher, which is no longer there anymore.

Mrs Lee loves Chinese, so will definately have to treat at some point over the next few weeks.

We have a takeaway menu at home.

I'll be driving past on my way home tonight.

I'll try and pop in and pick up the latest copy.

I'll scan and email to you.

Cheers.

Sounds well worth a try, once went there many years ago and the food didn't particularly stand out but clearly it bears no resemblance to that any longer.

Wonder if it has changed hands, it must be twenty years since I last visited...

Will definitely visit, are they open for lunch??

They open for lunch at the weekend. Sundays are an eat as much as you want - NOT buffet style - but cooked fresh to order!

We are there on 19th December for my FIL 70th birthday. He loves it that much he requested it when we said we were taking him for a meal to celebrate. Staff are great and have agreed to let us decorate the table with inflateable zimmerframes, balloons etc.... (FIL is very fit and healthy 70 year old!)

Menu picked up ... Will scan tomorrow at work.

We have been about a dozen times and never had a bad meal.

We've had even more takeaways.

We've taken friends who have then taken their friends.

I know some people who drive up from the Bury area to pick up takeaways. :D
