I'm looking to get some Euros for my holidays in a couple of weeks.

Were is everyone getting theirs from?

Anyone know of any good deals on exchange rates?

Cheers.

Whatever you do, don't get it at the airport.

The euro is fairly stable, so you'll be able to get a good deal at most places. Defo check the post office as they're very good and obviously get wholesale rates due to the volume they do.

Might be worth getting cash out over there as that can be much better.
I have a Nationwide account especially for trips abroad as they don't charge any fees for withdrawels abroad.

We usually use the PO but the HSBC had a slightly better rate at the begining of July when we went to Germany for the weekend, might be worth a check.

My Wife was down Rawtenstall today and noticed a sign in Althams Travel Agent.

Euro Rate 1.43 ...... The rate in the Post Office was 1.39 ...... both with No Commission.

She got them from Athams.

Got us an extra 30 Euros ...... that'll buy me a few more beers!

Thanks.

Top stuff

30 euros is almost £20 squids, so a fair difference - it pays to shop around.
