Re: Things I Hate

Same here Frankie.
I think as we get a bit older, we find more things to dislike.
My pet hate lately, is the motorist who doesn't indicate.
I started thinking that some vehicles hadn't been fitted with indicators from new.
Indicators are there to let other motorists know what you intend to do, i think some are just pig ignorant, it's down to respect for others.

Re: Things I Hate

Well, apart from Audi drivers....

I hate bad design.

When some company designs something & it's design is so bad that it does not do all the things that you should be able to do with it.

For instance, I have a sliding mitre saw from B&Q and despite there being a clamp that will fit in both sides, you can only realistically use it in one and never when doing 45 degree cuts.

Bad installations of bad designs & not thinking of how people will use things when installing them is another.

Like them massive toilet roll holders that some people install about 3 foot off the ground as if they are for midgets only

It's the little things that irk us....

Oi buggerlugs, i'm 54...a young 54 and i always acknowledge decent road manners, except when i'm in a grumpy mood. lol.
Funnily enough, i've not long been back from B&Q.
The entrance is a bit odd, it shares it with Halfords, you turn off the main road, along the shortish road that takes you to where you have to turn left to go into Halfords car park, or right for the B&Q car park.
Some times a vehicle may be coming out of Halfords, they have to cross the path of traffic coming in.
Such a thing happened today, so being the kind person that i am, i stopped and waved him out, to the displeasure of the ar$hole of a woman in the 2008 reg Range Rover behind me, who held the horn on for a good while.
I parked up and trotted over to where she had parked and tried to explain that i was only being courteous in letting the previously mentioned vehicle out (who, by the way, kindly gave me a thumbs up).
Her reply was to completely ignore me and utter something sounding something like "hanker"!!
In her defence, she did have five screaming and totaly out of control kids with her, and it could quite possibly have been that time of month?!!
Makes you feel all warm inside don't it?

and also

Re: Things I Hate

Just to give Lynne another laugh...

Another bad installation/design would be the flower holders in Rawtenstall centre, they are often knocked over by yobs.

Now if only the brackets had been installed with little wooden blocks underneath the main bar they would not be able to be pushed over...

So for the sake of a couple of foot of 3x2 chopped up, they have to replace the flowers etc.
