saw one this morning ambling up the garden path and again on the lawn this evening .

Yep, good for the garden ... they love slugs.

They are also a very nice flavour of crisps.

Very, very good for the garden Jacqui,
Put hedgehog house in google search and it will come up with loads of different shelters you can build for them. I am putting one in this year. They arent complicated and are easy to maintain. I think your visitor might have babies to feed (if its a female) and thats why shes busy in your garden. Awwwwww, put some tinned cat food out for her.

easy to spot,as there about 18 inch wide and half inch thick.thats a road hedgehog,you might have a garden one.

I've not seen an hedgehog for ages the last time was at work when I lifted a big wooden board up and one was hiding under it.

i e seen one run years a when i lived up water.....they have very long legs, was dead surprised when i saw it.....swore blind it was a large rat
