Having a break from gardening. Having cheese on toast for lunch.
The garden is coming along nicely, and should be able to take some pics in a couple of weeks.
I'm really happy at how many things survived their first winter. I hardly lost anything.
One of my mini water features is leaking though. I think, so I will have to dig it all up and sort it out!! If i dont come online, I very probably have fallen in!

PS I am weeding the bed that has the lovely orange spider in it, and so far there has been no sign of it.

Right I've had that, going back in the garden now.
I've got great big wet patches on my knees and those short trousers that come mid calf. I feel like Tom Sawyer.

Re: What are people up too right now

Having a cuppa and a breather. Just cut the back lawn (third time). Its nice and green but very patchy and weedy so I need to sort that this summer. Get some nice good quality weed and feed on it just before it rains next time. Did a monster weeding session in one of the bigger beds, pulled a load of couch grass out of the side rockery which I built at the end of last season so there are no plants to speak of in it.
I have sort of gone off on a gardening thing here.
Would somebody mind putting these few last posts in the gardening thread please. sorry!!!!

Re: Lynne's Garden

Ohhh brilliant!!! Lets have this as everybodys garden then and all put pics on. I cant wait to see them. Ive already seen some of Carole's pics on another gardening forum we are both on. But its going to be lovely to see everybody's gardens coming into bloom.
The pics of my garden the year I planted it (last season) are in the gallery somewhere.
Come on everybody put your pics on xx
