Help us to save our local bus company.
A meeting was held on Thursday 2nd April 2009 at Rossendale Transports head office in Haslingden to discuss the future of the company.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the board, Head of Finance for Rossendale Borough Council, the Managing Director and Commercial Director for Rossendale Transport and of course many of the staff of Rossendale Transport.

The results for the 2009 Lancashire County Council Election are now in and it's a landslide victory for the Conservative Party, winning every seat in Rossendale.

Hi to all,
I am wanting some help if any of you out there can help me.
This is an appeal for witnesses to a hit and run on Saturday 16th May at about 2-3pm between a 10yr old child and her horse, she was hit by a car and she fell off onto the car. It is in the free press today.

A Whitworth teenager has been given an ASBO, due to anti-social behavoiur on the Wallbank Estate.
Andrew Hazley, who is 17, and lives on Eastgate on Wallbank, has been responsible for harassing people and causing damage to cars.
He has has been reported for throwing stones at locals, hurling mud bombs, damaging parked vehicles, and causing general distress to the people around him.
