Re: Cornucopia

Lovely weather broken but lovely to have had glimpse of the promised season.
Have used last 4 days tidying garden. Mowed, pressure washed, weeded, planters emptied. Can now look out and look forwards to next repeat of the same 4 days/weeks/ months.
Lighter evenings lighten my mood !

Re: Cornucopia

Not so good here dull grey skies and a wind getting up. Did my years gardening yesterday by attacking the weeds that grow in between the paving stones with a doubled up dose of weed killer.
Its being so cold here since Sunday, which was shorts and T shirt weather then the complete opposite since then.
Well another birthday this Saturday for Maria, shes fed up with all my wise cracks about April 1 st. I told her the new Dyson V8 Animal I bought a few days ago is her birthday present she was not amused, unlike moi at her reaction.
Just had the bathroon redone, Archie does not like it , he hates tiled floors so he will not come in for our games, me flicking water in the air and him catching it.

Re: Cornucopia

Had my Hollands pudding "fix" at Toffs yesterday. Went to Pet burial ground and placea white rose on Bens grave. The flowershop in Bacup rd had run out of red ones. He wouldn't notice the difference. Whilethere met a a couple that wer filiming a documentary on peoples grief when they loose a pet. The women told me she was in tears when reading some of the dedications to their pets. Archie for some reason loves the place and works himself up when I park there, spending all the time we are at the grave side tearing frantically around. Think I will start eating Pedigree Chum is it gives one that energy.

Re: Cornucopia

Look out Emley shorts on, Archie shocked as well. Hes having a sulk as he has just being told that he is not coming with me this morning and has gone upstairs for one of his sulks. All I said was no your not coming, sullen face and trotted upstairs. Will leave him an extra treat, its for his own good which comes first.
