We used to go to Lowe lodge when we were children, I can remember Loveley's grave too, not sure if I could find it now though.

Yea, all the family used to go to Lowe Lodge and Waugh's Well on Easter Sunday.
Used to get the Topper comic on the way there.

Re: The Best Headstone Inscription ?
It's hard to give directions really. If you look at the North side of Cowpe Lowe, Lovely's grave is on the side of a little gulley. If you follow one of the ditches up the field (I think it follows a wall line too) you will probably find it. Best way to go is to go up the road from Kings and K Supplies at the bottom, and follow the road up and through the quarries (following what is pretty much the Whinberry Naze Dash route). Once you get to the steep west side of the Lowe, cut round to the North side of the hill past some metal sheeting making a little fence (If I remember correctly). Follow the track round to the North side and keep quite high up. The grave itself is set in some rushes on the East side of a little gulley/ditch which runs down the hill through to the fields below. It's not instantly recognisable, and indeed you will probably have to push the rushes out of the way to read it. From memory, it reads something like:

on the 12th of may,
we laid away
one who was loved by many
she hunted rats
was kind to cats,
and birds she sought out many'

Calum put this on in march it look's a good help

THANKS TO CALUM
CRAGGY
