Re: Problems and answers?

I think the answers come from within as usual, although I don't know if you are asking a question or merely highlighting the cultural acceptance of some traditions. (I didn't have the sound on and didn't watch all the footage)

Thanks Elsie, the point in question seems to have moved, but it concerned some African children who pioneered the concept of helping themselves by growing vast amounts of food, they had no land at all so they carried soil, put it into large bags and grew vast amounts of vegatables to sell for a reasonable standard of living.

We have the land and vast amounts of good soil completely unused, especially in the valley, nothing stops progress except the vested interest of corrupted politicians and big business.

Cheers H.

We'd have H&S, DEFRA, FSA and the tax man to fend off if anyone tried to actually help themselves. Nearest thing is allotments and they are few and far between with an annual rent to find.
Oh and Tesco et al would want a cut I'm sure

As I said Elcie, corrupted politicians, and big business,

Look at any failure at all, and you will see the same impediments, you can study British Rail's greedy grabbing since 1947 and the subsidy racketeers with their snouts still firmly in the trough, Stephen Byers made the foolish mistake of letting them know of his plans to curb the fat cats and he lasted only a few weeks.

Edwina Currie told the truth regarding Salmanella in our eggs and she was dumped even quicker.
