A massive 9000 photos in the Rossendale Online Gallery

Yep, that's right folks, a massive 9000 photos in the photo gallery.

I never dreamt it'd ever get to that and it's testament to everyone who's submitted a photo to the gallery.

Thanks again to everyone who has uploaded a photograph - each and every one is much appreciated and enjoyed by everyone.

Can we make it to 10,000?

Will you also consider a gardening sub forum please which could include birds and garden wildlife. The bird thread was very popular and i am sure a garden one would be too.

We already have the Home and Garden section, which has already proved very popular and I'm sure it can be added to there.

I think we could break the ten thousand barrier in a week or two, can I make a plea? Where a photo is put in a thread could a copy go in the Gallery for future retrieval? Thanks

Great idea, it's extra work having to upload them twice, and hard to keep track of what pictures you have or haven't already used.

10,000 is definitely do able, I'm polishing my lens in anticipation of the challenge as we speak!

Are there any forum mods that give better links to upload photo's and include them in threads?

Over at diynot.co.uk you can reply to a thread and under the text box there is the ability to select your uploaded photo's and include any from your albums, they are then displayed as smaller pics (just as attachments here are).

That way the pic gets uploaded to the photo section yet is available easier for inclusion in threads.
