Old Rossendale Pictures on Ebay

Just type "Rossendale" into Ebay search and you will come across some old books and bus pictures
taken in Rossendale including these three below.
The trams on Bank Street any ideas where the double decker picture was taken
Bet Wadey knows where it was

I think the double decker bus was at the old bus station which was sited where the fire station is now. The library shows in the background.

It was called Cheapside and it ran between Haslingden Road (opposite Schofield Road) and Bury Road , so called because it was where the entrance to the cheap seats were at the old Grand Theatre.
The bus stands on Cheapside were for the Burnley/Loveclough bus and Newchurch buses. The bus in the picture is either Burnley or Loveclough. Single deckers did the Newchurch run.

Was the little building to the front of the bus the old Bus Inspectors kiosk?

I remember catching the bus at the old bus stop in queen square ,when i came out of the pictures at the pavillion ,great nostalga.
