Rossendale Borough Council is delighted to officially announce that the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment will be parading through Haslingden next week for the Freedom of Rossendale celebrations. The Freedom Parade will be taking place in Haslingden on Thursday, July 21st, 2016 to mark the Duke of Lancasterís Regiment Freedom of the Borough of Rossendale. The regiment was first granted the Freedom of Haslingden in 1964, this was then extended to Rossendale when we last had a parade in the Borough, in June 2002, in Rawtenstall.
