Question Ivy Cottages, Water........where did they go?

Does anyone remember a row of cottages in water called " Ivy Cottages"?, I lived there back in the early 50's but there is no sign of them these days. They looked down on the back of Water Primary School.
A photo would be awesome or any info on their demolition would also be appreciated.

I only know of Ivy Cottages off Millar Barn Lane Waterfoot ; back to backs alongside Glen Road leading up to BRGS (New properties - Ivy Close - built on garden frontage to right hand cottages)
..

Angry Re: Ivy Cottages, Water........where did they go?

Thanks for the reply but they are not the Ivy Cottages I lived in.
They were fairly primitive, outside loo and no proper bathroom, I used to have a bath in a galvanised tub filled with hot water boiled up in a kettle, those were the days.

^
(The last cottage in the Waterfoot row is empty and still has outside loo which is in frequent use - plumes of illicit cigarette smoke can be seen wafting out each school break & lunchtime )

Hope someone can help you with more information John

The ones you are referring to were just below Priestley Fold Farm, yes?.

I've checked through back copies of the Electoral Register which is compiled every two years. They appear in the register compiled 10th October 1968 but are not there in the next register dated 10th October 1970 or any later registers.
