I went for a short walk through the glen tunnel today for the first time for around 12 years it was dry under foot, a tree had been cut and droped across the enterence to help prevent access.

I had to limbo under the tree, but it was not to hard. in fact you can walk round the tree if you mind going through deep mud.

Always remember we had dares with each other to go through the longest tunnel I remember being scared to death as I have a fear of rats.

Re: Went for a walk through the Glen tunnel

Looks like an attempt by the council to stop Motorbikes etc from going through the tunnel to me, As you can still obviously walk through them.

I agree with Hillbilly these should be opened up & cleaned up so you can wander through them and look at the engineering that went into making them.
