I'm sure some of the jobsites would have something.

You could try Monster.co.uk or thejobsite.co.uk.
Good luck with it and don't forget those 'power' words.

Re: Online CV builder

This is how I've done my CV, it may help you or not...

I find it better to keep it to not more than two pages, try to be brief but informative, (obviously I've taken off my address, date of birth and telephone number - don't want to get my identity stolen! ) but you get the general idea...

CV power words are words such as 'achieved', 'maintained', 'distributed' etc etc.

For example:
Whilst working at McDonalds, I achieved 5 gold stars and successfully maintained the toilets and ensured that the bog rolls were distributed to each cubicle.

Sounds good, doesn't it?

Don't forget to change your job title to one that has much more power.
Media Distribution Officer = Paper Boy
Vision Clearance Executive = Window Cleaner
Waste Removal Engineer - Bin (wo)man.

Our school (haslingden high school, name and shame) told us to 'bend the truth'

The example they give was ..."have you ever washed up for your mum or dad.....thats kitchen experience"

Thats what school is teaching these days in a whole CV writing lesson we had
