You have to pay them! Out of your 30K you have to pay a franchise fee, insurance, fuel etc etc. But they never mention this in the ads .

Re: I'm looking for work?

Just found a site where one bloke had to pay £3100 for the course and £250 a week for the car plus all the other expenses!

Re: I'm looking for work?

On the contrary J, twig fitter is easy specially now Sky will not put them high up.

I'm not interested in being a driving instructor ta, it would mean buying a new car etc. And I just don't have the patience for wimmin drivers...

Rex, so it was you! lol
The job was easy peasy enough, the scanning side I am well experienced at, driving is just driving. so it's not hard to fill that position.

Are there jobs that take you above minimum wage once your experienced?

I'd like a job locally rather than having to travel 20+ miles & one that is more active than sitting behind a desk all day, any suggestions?

Cheers,
Matty
Good Luck Matty.

Temping seems a very good idea. Its how i started when i finished uni. After 6 months working for a comapany as a contractor they took me on.

So it's your fault I have just spent all evening filling out an application form (Word form) trying to fit everything into the little boxes with no ability to cut/copy select text (and no spell checker in forms). grrr...lol

Caretaker kinda appeals to me too.

If you get sorted, you can buy me a beer with your first pay packet. It is good money and typical hours for a primary school are 7 - 11 am then 2 - 6pm

Give you chance for a siesta
