Rossendale Utd v Bamber Bridge (2)

After the abandonment of last weeks game at half time following a torrential downpour, tomorrow sees the visit of promotion chasing Bamber Bridge. Brig, as they are affectionately known will be seeking to avenge Rossy’s 4-2 victory at their Irongate ground a few weeks back which put a firm dent in their Champions ambitions. Rossy on the other hand will be seeking to continue their recent run of form which has seen three victories on the bounce – the first of which was at Brig.
When the two sides met at Dark Lane just before Christmas, it was a very close affair with Bamber Bridge turning out 1-0 winners. Honours even so far then but Brig desperate to stay within the play off places they will want to come to Dark Lane for a victory.

Get yourselves and some friends up to the game. If you haven’t been before you may be surprised by the quality of the football, but certainly not by the welcome you will receive from YOUR local club!

Disaster - lost 5-1, we weren't at the races, or so the saying goes! Or maybe perhaps we were - watching the National whilst Bamber Bridge were busy scoring goals.

I think that we'll just put Saturday down to a bad day at the office and move on to Tuesday night when we entertain Radcliffe Borough in another local Derby. Kick off is 7-45pm if anyone can make it.
