There's a cracking sunset tonight and ends a lovely day weather wise.

Sadly, my camera is kaput after finding out they take kindly to being dropped.

If anyone is out and about with the cameras, I'd love to see the sunset from where you are.

Re: Cracking sunset

Sadly the Sun had long gone to bed before I left work tonight.

However, on the way home I noticed how clear the views towards Manchester were whilst driving over the top of Haslingden Old Road.

So wrap up warn and get out and take some fantastic night photos.

Re: Cracking sunset

Don't rub it in guys it's been snowing all the way down the M6 and it's sleeting in Hampshire tonight. I did take some good Autumn shots from my office before I left but I would have liked to grab a good sunset.

I did.

I went up Holcombe Hill and took some photos of Manchester and the City Centre.

Dunno what they came out like yet.

It was well cold up there.

Ive been up there at night but without camera, The views are beyond what you could even imagine

Did you manage to spot manchester airport? I have always wanted to get my zoom lens at night and get a 30 second shutter of the planes coming in to land and take off

Fantastic views from up there on clear days/nights ...... got to be one of the best in the area.

I could clearly see the planes landing and taking off at Manchester Airport.

Going to download the photos off my camera now and see if owt's worth posting.

See ya laters.
